How it works
A rehearsal before the interview that counts.
Vitalsvoice is private interview practice for UK and US jobseekers. You practise as yourself. A realistic interviewer runs a first-round screen or a second-round conversation, then you leave with a note you can use before the real panel — not a job offer, and not something an employer will see.
01
Set the scene
Pick the UK or US market, a first or second round, the role you are applying for, the kind of organisation, and how long you have. You can paste a job advert or job posting so the conversation stays close to that opportunity.
02
Read the briefing
You meet the interviewer on paper first: who they are, why they are hiring, and what they will listen for. It is a briefing, not a mark scheme or a script to recite.
03
Sit the conversation
Answer as yourself — type or speak. The AI interviewer keeps time, follows up when an answer is thin, and follows the UK or US conventions you selected. You can pause and use the private on-screen guidance.
04
Take the note
When the practice interview ends, you get a private written note: what landed, what to tighten, lines you actually said, and three things to take into the next real round.
First interview
The screen
Usually a talent-acquisition or recruiter conversation. They check you understand the role, why you applied, and the practicalities — notice period, right to work, when you could start. It is shorter and more structured than the second round.
Second interview
The hiring manager
A different person, with a different job. They want examples from your work, how you handle trade-offs, and whether you have thought about the team. Expect follow-up on gaps, and space to ask them something useful.
Sit them in either order. A second round is not a “harder first round” — it is a different conversation with a different job to do.
Voice or typing
Speak if you want the pace of a call. Type if you want a moment to think. You can switch. The interviewer finishes their turn before you reply — you are not expected to talk over them.
Your note
Strengths, weak spots, and three actions for next time. Where it helps, the note quotes you. It is yours. We do not send it to employers or use it to rank you against other candidates.
What this is not
Not a guarantee of hire. Not careers advice, CV or resume rewriting, or a verbal offer. The interviewer will not ask about protected characteristics. British English or US English, based on your selected market.
Who it is for
People preparing for a UK or US first or second interview who want a dry run with the clock running — policy, product, engineering, public service, start-up or consultancy. Bring the job advert or job posting if you have one. Practise the questions you would rather not hear for the first time in the real room.
